This is a tricky time for so many families. It can be chaotic and honestly, there’s not a lot of help out there to make this time run smoothly. Many kids need distraction to eat so there is a period of setting up the ipad or gathering books or other toys to the table. It may involve literally putting food on the table. Jumping up 300 times to get water, a spoon, a fork, the ketchup, another spoon because one fell, some ice, I mean the list can go on forever it seems (am I right?) That’s not unique to your family- we all have that going on even in the most organized of households.
