It’s back! · For SLPs who evaluate adults

Finish the evaluation. The report is already written.

C.A.S.E., the Comprehensive Adult Speech-Language & Swallowing Evaluation, takes you from case history to a signed, editable report in one app. Ten sections, one-tap scoring with cue levels, and a narrative that writes itself while you test.

One payment. No subscription. Introductory price, regularly $497.

A real evaluation in 90 seconds: choosing subtests, one-tap scoring, the patient writing on screen, and the finished report.

Sound familiar?

You became an SLP to help people communicate again. Not to rebuild the same evaluation report at 10 p.m.

Paper everywhere

A stimulus book on your lap, score sheets on the tray table, a case history on a clipboard, and a pen that dies halfway through the bedside swallow.

Scoring after the fact

Tallying percentages, working out what was independent and what needed a cue, and hoping your shorthand still makes sense tomorrow.

The report, from scratch

Retyping history, results, and recommendations into a template, for every patient, on time you are not paid for.

No subscription. Ever.

Let’s make owning things normal again.

Buy it once. Own it for life.

Your documentation software is a subscription. Your therapy materials are a subscription. Scheduling, note templates, CEUs: subscriptions. As a clinician I pay for a stack of them every month, and it bothers me to no end. You pay and pay, and you never actually own anything.

So I built C.A.S.E. differently. You pay once and the app is yours. There is no monthly fee, no annual renewal, and no account that locks you out the day you stop paying. Open it on your next evaluation, and on every one after that.

C.A.S.E. was my very first original creation. It ran in the Apple App Store until keeping up with coding updates and App Store costs made it too expensive to maintain, so it sat discontinued for years. Now it’s back, rebuilt from the ground up and better than ever, and this time there is no ongoing payment. One download and it’s yours, the way software used to be.

How it works

Three steps, one sitting.

Step 1

Pick the sections and take the history

Give the whole battery or only the subtests you need. The case history, medications, hearing, vision, prior and current function, plus an optional bedside swallow exam, all flow straight into the report.

Report header and history narrative generated from the case history
Step 2

Test with one tap per item

Your script and notes to therapist sit on one side and the stimulus on the other. Tap Correct or Incorrect, mark the cue that helped, check off elements recalled, and use Patient view to enlarge pictures for the person in front of you.

Testing screen with picture stimuli, cue chips and scoring buttons
Step 3

Your report is ready when you are

Accuracy and severity for every section, independent versus cued responses, a written paragraph per section, a cueing profile, suggested goals, your notes, and the patient’s writing samples. Edit any sentence, sign it, then print, save as PDF, or download for Word.

Built by a clinician

Score the way you already think.

Every item records whether the response was independent, cued or incorrect, and which cue made the difference. The report turns that into a cueing profile you can write goals from.

Christine is a New York-licensed speech-language pathologist who has spent years evaluating and treating adults after stroke and traumatic brain injury, along with their families. Questions clinicians ask

Is this really a one-time purchase?

Yes. You pay once and keep using C.A.S.E. on your device for as long as you like. There is no subscription and nothing to renew.

What devices does it work on?

C.A.S.E. runs in a web browser on a Mac, a Windows PC or an iPad. A stylus works well for the writing tasks but is not required.

Do I need internet or an AI subscription?

No. Once it is set up, C.A.S.E. works offline, and the report is generated from your scores inside the app. If you like, you can copy a de-identified summary into your own AI tool to polish the wording.

Where is patient information stored?

Only on the device you use. Nothing is uploaded to us or anyone else. Download a backup regularly from Settings, and follow your own practice’s privacy policies for the device.

Is it a standardized test?

No. C.A.S.E. is a screening and evaluation tool that is not based on a normative sample. Use it for baseline data, screening, and as a starting point for your clinical judgment and treatment plan.

Does it write goals?

It suggests them. C.A.S.E. drafts measurable goals from the areas that scored below the mild range and from the daily-living skills marked as affected in the case history, with the baseline filled in. You choose which to add, edit the wording, or pick from a goal bank of more than 50 goals. Your clinical judgment always has the final say.

Does it transcribe the language sample?

You can dictate the transcript with the microphone on your iPad or Mac keyboard, or type it. C.A.S.E. then calculates mean length of utterance, different words, type-token ratio and filler words for you. Nothing is sent to an online transcription service, so the recording stays private on your device.

Can I change the report before I send it?

Every paragraph is editable, and your edits are saved with the evaluation. You can rebuild the text from the scores at any time, add recommendations, and sign before you print or download.

Can my whole team use one copy?

Yes, on the same device. Each purchase licenses C.A.S.E. for one device, so if your team shares one iPad or one laptop, everyone who uses that device can use C.A.S.E. on it. Add each clinician in Settings and choose the treating therapist for each evaluation, so every report carries the right name. For more devices, purchase one license per device.

Can I get a refund?

Because C.A.S.E. is a digital product you keep the moment you buy it, all sales are final. Watch the demo video above to see exactly how it works before you purchase.
